Our first festival selection. (Whoop!)

Well slap my thigh and call me Jessie – Blind Crow have had their latest short ‘Girl In the Woods’ selected for a festival, and a bloody gun ‘un at that too.

The wonderful Newport Beach Film Festival in Califoh-Neye-ay has seen the merit of the graft of ourselves and the fantabulous Alex Rose and Lynne Hames at 3:15 Films and our chilling thriller will be premiering in the Crime and Short Passion section of the fest at 4 p.m on the 2nd of May at the Triangle Square cinema.

Here’s a photo of co-director Matt Rozier doing his thang (slang for thing) on set (for shits and giggles….)

If it tickles your fancy, why not visit the Newport Beach Film Festival website and have a poke around – it looks pretty sweet!: http://www.newportbeachfilmfest.com/2012/

If you’re in or around the Newport Beach/LA area, drop by and check out the film, but in the meantime, drop by the Girl in The Woods website and have a goosey gander (http://www.girlinthewoods.com/)

Muchos thanks must go out to all have worked on the film – Tom Bennet, Robert Atiko, Aria Prasad, Hilary Greatorex, Lucy Claire-Thornton, Jose Pereira, Jonathan Rose, Lauren Johnson, Jeremy Pelzer, Gabrielle Rose and Joseph Kirk. You’re all absolute stars. We’ve just started on the old circuit, and so hopefully this’ll be the first selection of many.

Keep your eyes peeled for more news and cheers for stopping by!
